From Preschool to Artful Minds: A Creative Space for Kids to Thrive
In 2019 I was part of a team who opened a Reggio inspired preschool and quickly saw how much children need this kind of environment. We’ve witnessed how it helps them build relationships, grow in self-confidence and communication, and express themselves in a safe space where mistakes are part of the learning.
At Reggio & Co, we created a huge art studio during COVID, and I feel so lucky to host Artful Minds classes there—bringing even more opportunities for children to explore, create, and thrive.
That studio has become the perfect place for Artful Minds.

These labs are inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the belief that children learn best when they’re trusted, respected, and given the freedom to explore. We offer open-ended materials and space to build, paint, sculpt, invent, collaborate, and just be.
It’s a “yes space” in a world with too many “no’s.” Here, kids problem-solve, make friends, cheer each other on, and express themselves in whatever way feels right to them. Whether they come once or every week, they’ll be seen, supported, and celebrated.
